Lorelai's 6th Birthday

Birthday Dream Come True!

When we lived in Texas, Lorelai said her wish would be to move back to California and spend her birthday with her best friend, Elyse at Disneyland.  I feel so lucky that when we moved back to California we were able to get Disneyland passes again and make Lorelei's dream come true!  Since we already had Disneyland passes we met up with Auntie Stevie, Uncle Mike and cousin Nathan for a fun day to celebrate Lorelai's birthday.  I drove out there by myself with these five cute kids and  Mike, Stevie and Ian met us later.  Lorelai then had Elyse sleep over and we had breakfast by the pool and swimming.  Later for Lorelai's actual birthday party my mom and I took Elyse, Gwen and Lorelai to the American Girl doll store for a lunch and she was able to pick out her first American Girl doll.  She picked the girl of the year for 2015, Grace Thomas.  It was an amazing birthday!

Lorelai wanted to bring ice cream sandwiches to her kindergarten class.  It was a warm, sunny day!  We ate outside and celebrated with Mrs Poole's kinder class at Taft Elementary.

In April we went to the Maroon 5 concert at the LA forum.  It was sooooo fun!

Springtime Fun

March 2015

Kindergarten cuties!  All the Taft Elementary kindergartners went on a walking field trip all around downtown Riverside.
We got to visit the art museum, natural history museum, a dance studio, fire station, and the mayor's office!  We even got to meet the Riverside mayor, Rusty Bailey.  I was so lucky to be a chaperone and this was my little group of girls!  

My favorite little kindergartner! So incredibly blessed to be able to chaperone field trips for her!

Everyone thought Charlotte was quietly napping in the downstairs bedroom.  After she woke up from her nap she found mommy's bright pink lipstick and proceeded to color all over her face and the carpet and mirror in mom's bedroom at Grandma Susie's house.

Ahoy it's a Boy!

Baby Shower for Baby Jergensen 2015

Our friends Liz and Jeremy Jergensen are adopting a baby boy!  So Gail Marquis, Katie Gunnell and I threw Liz a baby shower to get them prepared for their sweet arrival.  Lots of friends chipped in and helped make food and we decorated Gail's home with a classic nautical theme for baby Jackson.
