Nathan was blessed in Corona by my brother and his dad, Michael McDonald.  Afterwards family and friends came back to our house to have lunch.  Such a sweet day.

Utah Road Trip

April 2012

We had so much fun spending time with Doug, Amy and their family while we were in Utah.  We took the kids to a museum while we were in Salt Lake and they had a blast learning about science!  Even when the vacation is a quick weekend road trip, it's so fun to have no responsibilities and just fun.  Plus my kids think it is the best to stay in a hotel.

The Road trip home called for a stop at In n Out and I introduced them to neapolitan shakes.  Needless to say, I think they are fans.  Gwen had a kung fu grip on her shake and was not gonna give that thing up.

Utah Trip: the wedding

Wedding Time!  Kyrstie and Jimmy Gillie got married in the Provo Temple and had their reception at a local LDS chapel.  They also had a large reception in Oklahoma where Kyrstie grew up.  It was so fun being with the Lanes, Neelys and the Foremans.

After the Temple Sealing ceremony and before the receeption we went to have some delicious Brazilian BBQ courtesy of the Dill family.  It was so delcicoius and we had a chance to hang out with our family and laugh and talk.  Above (Sandy Foreman aka oma (amy's mom) with Lorelai) and I'm not sure what is happening between these two cousins, Ian and Elijah!

Utah Road Trip

Road Trip!  We took the drive from California to Utah to go Kyrstie Neely's wedding.  Kyrstie is Amy Lane's niece, although she's not Ian's blood relative, she's our cousin and we love her!  So we were excited to go to the temple and see her get sealed to her fiance Jimmy Gillie and best of all we got to spend a few days with the Lane family!  So we made a vacation out of our road trip and visited Temple Square in Salt Lake, City Creek Center, pizza at the U of U and an awesome park!

We drove all night and stopped at a diner in Utah.  We all are a little motly.  Dining in jammies, diapers and no shoes!  But the eggs and hashbrowns were sure tasty!!

Lorelai had so much fun with Uncle Doug Lane.  We met up with them right away and went to the park

Spring Swimming

Ian took care of the girls while finishing up school and I worked full time.  Many times he would babysit Elyse Jergensen too so the three girls could play.  On this day he took them to Grandma Susie's to swim.  Elyse didn't have a bathing suit, so he stopped by Target and picked her up one.  He's an amazing caregiver for our children.  And they even had the cutest picnic outside too!  Such lucky ladies!

Princess Tea 2012

Every year Norco High School hosts a Princess Tea as a fundraiser for their theater department.  So, of course as soon as I heard about it I knew I had to take Lorelai!  They decorated the auditorium like a fairytale, served tea sandwiches and lemonade and the theater kids sang Disney songs dressed as everyone's favorite characters.  Lorelai was star struck!

Easter 2012

This Easter we dyed eggs at Grandma Susie's house, had a dinner and a little egg hunt also at grandma's and the girl's had new Easter dresses to wear to church on Easter Sunday.  

And while they were dying Easter eggs grandpa was snuggling a 14 month old Gwennie!
