Right before Gwen was born, our little family went on an outing as one of the last times we would be a family of 3. It was such a special day for us! We drove down to Seaport Village in San Diego the Saturday before I was scheduled to be induced. Melissa, Ian and a 21 month old Lorelai spent the day looking at fish and kites, taking a ride on Lorelai's first carousel, eating her first ice cream cone (
Ben & Jerry's) and dancing to a local jazz band
Nadro John. Even now when I listen to the cd we purchased from them, it takes me back to this perfect day.
