My mom and Vern took us on a little staycation at the Newport Beach Marriott. It was the best time! We went to the beach, swam at the pool and since we had purchased annual passes to Disneyland, we took the girls to Disney. I love vacationing right in my own state of California. There is so much to do and see! Lorelai loved playing in the sand, but didn't get too close to the water! It wasn't until we went swimming at the pool! At the end of our vacation Grandpa Ed hosted a Ludloff family reunion at the beach in Long Beach. So we drove north to Long Beach from Newport to meet up with our cousins, and family and spent the day at the beach there.
