February 2013
Little miss Gwennie wanted a Minnie Mouse party. So we had a small dinner (at my mom's house since that's where we live still). We decorated with a few little hanging Minnie Mouse decorations, pink polka dot balloons and party "ears." We had fun at our little family dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Sewell, and Michael, Stevie and Nathan McDonald.
A Letter from Mom
Dear Gwennie,
Happy 2nd Birthday to
my little cutie! You are the funniest
little babe with so much zest and spunk.
You make us laugh everyday with your silly faces and cute shenanigans. You call yourself “Ginnie” which is so
cute! You say “I Ginnie.” You have brought so much life to our family
and keep us on our toes. You love to
dance and dress up just like your sister Lorelai, but although Lorelai is a
little more serious, you are much more free spirited. I can’t wait to see how that continues to
develop as you grow. You also help me
exercise lots of patience, as you are a very loud tantrumer! If you don’t get your way, you throw very
loud tantrums. Very loud! You actually are just loud in general, for
some reason your voice is super loud!
I’m laughing just thinking about it!
You are just at both ends of the spectrum! I love you so much though, even with those
loud tantrums that you throw! You are so
loving and snugly and so much fun! For
your birthday we had a little family birthday party with a Minnie Mouse theme
at Grandma Susie’s house. We were
living there and I had just had Charlotte two months earlier. Grandpa Vern and Grandma Susie were there
with Uncle Mike, Auntie Stevie and Cousin Nathan too! For your actual birthday we took you to
Disneyland which had become a tradition for started with Lorelai to take you to
Disneyland for your second birthday. So
the actual day of your birthday we spent the day at Disneyland! So fun running around Toon town, going on
“It’s a Small World” and watching the parade.
Your birthday was simple and sweet.
I love you so much Gwennie goo goos!
I love you,
Mom
