So we sold our house and moved into a little 1 bedroom apartment/guesthouse at our friend's the Demkes in Norco. This was so generous of them to allow us to live there. It allowed us to live rent free while we were figuring out our plan and we were still in our ward, the Foothill ward with all our dear friends. I would be lying if I didn't say I had the worst memories of living there. Mostly because I was really sick since I was pregnant and then we had some rats in the attic, which died and stunk up the place! So we tried to mask the scent with lysol. So basically it smelled like orange lysol/dead rat. Oh it was bad! But we made it work. Almost every night we would put Gwen to bed, then about half an hour later put Lorelai to bed, in our bed. And then Ian and I stayed up watching sitcom called Psych. Our life was super simple and we ate out A LOT!! Around the end of July my mom asked us to house sit for them and we decided to go ahead and move in with them as they had been asking us to! It was a good move. We actually ended up living with my parents for over a year and a half! Here are a few pictures from our life in that little guesthouse!
