May 2012
Today is our last day in our house on Carnegie Court. It's very bitter-sweet. We are sad to leave the first house we bought, thinking we would stay in it for years, but also looking forward to a hopeful future and better things to come. We also fell out of love with our house, the more we lived in it the more I realized it felt too big, or the layout wasn't right for a growing family. So I was ok with moving. Ian finished was almost done with school and our plan was to switch roles when the baby came (due in December). So we would temporarily live with our friends the Demke's who offered up their little guest apartment for us to stay in, rent free! I'll always be thankful to them! We planned to stay there temporarily until we figured out our next plan. We picked up McDonalds breakfast for the girls and they sat on the stairs eating their burritos while we got the last of the remaining stuff. They looked so cute sitting their! I'll never forget this little moment. Goodbye house on Carnegie Court! Here are a few pictures of the first house we bought, (bought end of 2007).

This was our roommate Mike Ramirez's room for 2 years we all lived together. Then he bought his own home and we turned it into a guest room. |

I really wanted a hot pink laundry room! I always planned to paint the cabinets white |
