Moving Day: San Antonio to Sugarland

September 2014
Moving day!  I did most of the packing and hired movers and now moving day has arrived!  Moving all by myself with three littles has been stressful but I made it!

The girls were finding all kinds of things while I was packing up

packing up the apartment.  Not sad to leave this little place

Lorelai went to her friends house to play and when Gwen woke up from her nap this was
her face when she realized she was gone

Gwen found my banana slug slippers!  My favorite gift from my favorite UC Santa Cruz students

No furniture means  a lot of space to play

Sugarland here we come!

moving in to our house, now if I could just find the legs to my sofa

entertaining herself with my roller skates and a baby sun hat while a sick lorelai is resting on the
sofa behind her.  unpacking has been tedious and became even more fun when she threw up all over my rug

New Braunfels Childrens Museum...again

September 2014
With Ian being gone in Texas City, I've been doing lots of packing and the days have been very long, so we've tried to break up the long days with some excursions.  We went to the New Braufels Childrens museum and had also been frequenting McDonald's for some playtime fun.

Frozen Meet and Greet

August 2014
Learning Express in San Antonio had a meet and green with the characters from Disney's Frozen.  The girls were so excited to meet Anna and Elsa!  Of course Lorelai wore her Elsa dress and Gwen wore her Anna dress.  Such a fun morning with our friends, the Gregorys.

Country Life in Boerne, Texas

We spent our Saturday in Boerne, a quaint little country town in New Braunfels.  The girls had so much fun touching the cactus because they didn't have any thorns!  We ate dinner at the Gristmill, an adorable little country restaurant right along the Comal river.

Exploring Fredericksburg

We spent the day in a little town north of San Antonio called Fredericksburg, known for its German heritage and fresh peaches.  It was a adorable little downtown full of antique shops, German restaurants and historical sites. The girls had fun exploring some of the little shops including the Christmas store and toy stores.  We ended the day visiting the Pioneer museum and bought a bag of fresh peaches.
