Christmas Magic

 December 2014

Christmas in Sugarland!   We were only here a short time but it was magical.
The girls decorated their own little Christmas tree with hot pink decorations

Its snowing!  Well maybe not really!  Out at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the
Sugarland town square and they had "snow" well it was actually bubbles but it felt like
snow since it was so cold and rainy that night

Our elf, Candy Cane Sparkle, was found having a tea party with Tiana, Jasmine and Merida

The girls were tucked in their beds when they discovered a "ticket" under their pillow for the Lane Christmas Express!  We
took them in their PJs and blankies for a car ride to look at Christmas lights and ended then night with hot chocolate and
beignets at our favorite beignet place

Lorelai drew a picture of the nativity.  I particularly love that baby Jesus has a beard and full head of hair!

Gwennie was so excited Christmas morning to get a Bitty Baby.  It has become her most treasured toy

I think Candy Cane Sparkle is telling us something.....

December Fun

December 2014

Fun memories in December
Lorelai made this art project in school!  Love it!
If you look closely you can see Grandpa Vern Sewell, Uncle Kyle Kalama, and Great-Grandpa Ed Ludloff's name on our
Wall of Heroes at Austin Parkway Elementary (top left corner) We love our Veteran family

For Lorelei's last day of school before we moved back to California I took her to the nail salon for the first time (that's what she picked) and she loved it!

Lorelai loved the nail salon so much, she came home and made one with her sisters

San Antonio Sister Sleepover

December 2014

Our friends from San Antonio were going on a cruise out of Galveston and so they came out a day early so they could stay with us!  It was so fun to see their San Antonio sisters and for us to catch up with our friends we had moved away from a few months earlier, the Gregory family!  So we partied Chuck E Cheese and Chik Fil A

reunited!  Gwen and Lauren were both 3 (almost 4) and Lorelai and Samantha were 5 (turning 6 in a few months)

Katelyn is a year older than Lorelai and Sam!  So fun with all these girls

Kinder Holiday Party

December 2014

Lorelai's last day of school in Texas before we moved back to California.  The last day of school before winter break they had a holiday party in their cute Kinder class.  Since we were moving back to California this would be the last time she saw all her classmates and teacher.  We loved her class!

Grandma & Grandpa Sewell Visit Sugarland

December 2014

My mom and Vern came out for a visit and they timed their trip perfectly so they could spend thanksgiving with us and then stay into the first week of December so we could celebrate some Christmas festivities with them.  So we got our Christmas tree and looked at Christmas lights in Galveston.

Christmas tree shopping.   I think we found one!

The girls found these little trees and were excited that they were just their size!

We went and saw some amazing Christmas lights out on the island of Galveston

Lorelai had to have her picture taken with the giant lit up lollipop

We are so happy grandma and grandpa came to visit us in Sugarland!

Thanksgiving 2014

November 2014

Lorelai had a Thanksgiving feast in Kindergarten as the cutest little pilgrim I ever saw!  I got to enjoy helping out at it!  A few days later our entire family got sick with the flu and we spent out entire Thanksgiving break on the couch!  My mom and Vern flew out to spend Thanksgiving with us so that was a treat to have visitors.

Lorelai with her Kinder teacher Mrs Debora Vida and her Kinder friends including Tori and Justin.
