Gwen's 4th Birthday

Happy 4th Birthday Gwennie 2015

Gwen loves her "bitty baby" from American Girl doll.  So for her birthday she chose to go to the American Girl Doll store and have a fancy lunch with her Grandma Susie, Lorelai and mommy.  We let the girls bring their dolly strollers so they could walk their dolls to the store.  Gwen brought Bitty Baby to lunch and Lorelai brought my doll that I grew up with, Samantha.

Happy 4th Birthday Gwen!

After the visit to the store, Lorelai is wishing for this doll, Grace, the girl of the year for 2015.

We had a little family party for Gwen at Christi's house.  Grandma Susie, Grandpa Vern, Grandpa Cordell and Grandma Janette all came over.  Along with Mike, Stevie and Nathan!  We had dinner and cake and ice cream to celebrate our Gwennie girl!

Grandma & Grandpa Sewell Visit Sugarland

December 2014

My mom and Vern came out for a visit and they timed their trip perfectly so they could spend thanksgiving with us and then stay into the first week of December so we could celebrate some Christmas festivities with them.  So we got our Christmas tree and looked at Christmas lights in Galveston.

Christmas tree shopping.   I think we found one!

The girls found these little trees and were excited that they were just their size!

We went and saw some amazing Christmas lights out on the island of Galveston

Lorelai had to have her picture taken with the giant lit up lollipop

Thanksgiving 2014

November 2014

Lorelai had a Thanksgiving feast in Kindergarten as the cutest little pilgrim I ever saw!  I got to enjoy helping out at it!  A few days later our entire family got sick with the flu and we spent out entire Thanksgiving break on the couch!  My mom and Vern flew out to spend Thanksgiving with us so that was a treat to have visitors.

Lorelai with her Kinder teacher Mrs Debora Vida and her Kinder friends including Tori and Justin.

My mom

September 2014
My mom is so amazing.  She flew out from California to help me unpack knowing I would be stressed out with unpacking an entire house while Ian was gone all day and night working.  Every move (and there have been a lot) my mom has been there for me, unpacking and organizing my kitchen and helping me with everything I need.  She is always there for me and this time she gave up an entire week and came to help take care of the girls and help me unpack.   She kept me motivated when I was so tired and didn't want to open another box.  She keeps going and going!  I can't say thank you enough to my lovely mom for all that she does for me.  I love you mom!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

May 1-6 2014
Grandma Susie and Grandpa Vern Sewell came to visit us in San Antonio!  We had fun showing them around and touring our new city!  The girls were so excited to be surprised by them and it was so nice to see some familiar faces!  We have only been here for three months, but it has been a LONG three months!  I miss home.  I miss my family.  I miss my friends.  I miss California!  So having some visitors was so nice! We had a wonderful time!
Walking the Riverwalk and stopped for some cool treats.

dinner on the Riverwalk

we went to Sea World with my parents

the girls liked the octopus princess at sea world!  you can't see charlotte, but she's on my back

We went to the Witte Museum and did lots of exploring!  Here we learned how to build a log cabin

the girl's' favorite exibit was all the dresses of the Fiesta parade Princesses.  Each dress was themed
from a fairy tale so the girls were really excited to see all the dresses and at the end of the exhibit
they got to dress up themselves!

After the museum we rode the train through Breckenridge park
