Lorelai's 6th Birthday

Birthday Dream Come True!

When we lived in Texas, Lorelai said her wish would be to move back to California and spend her birthday with her best friend, Elyse at Disneyland.  I feel so lucky that when we moved back to California we were able to get Disneyland passes again and make Lorelei's dream come true!  Since we already had Disneyland passes we met up with Auntie Stevie, Uncle Mike and cousin Nathan for a fun day to celebrate Lorelai's birthday.  I drove out there by myself with these five cute kids and  Mike, Stevie and Ian met us later.  Lorelai then had Elyse sleep over and we had breakfast by the pool and swimming.  Later for Lorelai's actual birthday party my mom and I took Elyse, Gwen and Lorelai to the American Girl doll store for a lunch and she was able to pick out her first American Girl doll.  She picked the girl of the year for 2015, Grace Thomas.  It was an amazing birthday!

Ian took the little girls home early.  These two big girls stayed up late!

Six years ago this sweet girl made me a mom!

Elyse spent the night after Disneyland.  The next morning was a beautiful sunny day.
The girls all had breakfast out by the pool and a morning swim!

Lorelai wanted to bring ice cream sandwiches to her kindergarten class.  It was a warm, sunny day!  We ate outside and celebrated with Mrs Poole's kinder class at Taft Elementary.

Happy Birthday Kinder girl!

Disneyland Fun

March 2015

We loved going to Disneyland with our annual passes of the 2015 year.  When Melissa Jones (Christi Postoian's sister) came to visit with her kids we had a great time meeting up with them and all the kids.  See below at Disneyland with Melissa, Christi and Melissa Lane and kids!

Frozen Meet and Greet

August 2014
Learning Express in San Antonio had a meet and green with the characters from Disney's Frozen.  The girls were so excited to meet Anna and Elsa!  Of course Lorelai wore her Elsa dress and Gwen wore her Anna dress.  Such a fun morning with our friends, the Gregorys.

Disney Birthdays

We went to Disneyland for Gwennie's 3rd birthday.  It ended up being a cold and windy day and Gwen and Charley were ready to leave early.  But before we left, I let Gwen pick out a princess dress to wear for her special day, she picked Aurora.  After she met the princesses from Frozen we decided to have Ian take them home, but I stayed since Stevie, Mike and Nathan as well as Christi and her girls were coming out to meet us at Disney later that evening.  It was KaiLee's 16th birthday that day so I really wanted to stay and celebrate!  Luckily Christi has a big car and we hitched a ride home with her! So Lorelai and I stayed and had a really special night with friends and family.

The girls wanted to so badly to meet the princesses from Frozen, so we waited an hour, but they were so happy!

Lorelai and I waiting to meet some more princesses while Gwen and Charley were sleeping in the stroller

It was KaiLee's 16th birthday that day so we had a blast celebrating with Kai,
Delani, MaKayla Sam holding Lorelai

We closed the park down!  Disneyland feels so familiar to me, like a neighborhood park or favorite
store, I don't know what I'm going to do without it! Spending Disney with Christi, Delani (and girls) Michael, Stevie, Nathan and Lorelai wasso fun.  We even ran to the Pooh Bear ride minutes before it closed!  It felt so good.  I miss Disneyland so much and can't wait to return!  The place is truly one of the happiest places on earth!

Disney Days

Since we knew we were moving, we decided to splurge on a 2-day pass for Disneyland.  We had passes for the last few years, but hadn't renewed for months.  We love Disneyland and have so many wonderful memories of going there as a family.  We decided the 2nd day we go we can celebrate Gwen turning 3!  So instead of a party we took the girls to Disneyland.

Goodbye to Disney Passes

August 2013
We had annual passes to Disneyland since Lorelai turned 2.  Disneyland and California Adventure become one of our very favorite places to take our kids.  Our passes were coming up for expiration the end of August so we did two Disney days before our Disney time was up.  Ian and I went on a Disney date just the two of us!  I finally got to ride Star Tours!  I wanted to go on all the rides I couldn't with my kids, and of course we had to end our day with a huge ice cream cone from Gibson Girl on Main Street.  Then my mom watched baby Charlotte, while we took the two older girls for the day a few days later.

as soon as we arrived we saw Ariel!  the girls were so excited!

and of course we ended our day with a scoop at downtown disney
