Lorelai's 6th Birthday

Birthday Dream Come True!

When we lived in Texas, Lorelai said her wish would be to move back to California and spend her birthday with her best friend, Elyse at Disneyland.  I feel so lucky that when we moved back to California we were able to get Disneyland passes again and make Lorelei's dream come true!  Since we already had Disneyland passes we met up with Auntie Stevie, Uncle Mike and cousin Nathan for a fun day to celebrate Lorelai's birthday.  I drove out there by myself with these five cute kids and  Mike, Stevie and Ian met us later.  Lorelai then had Elyse sleep over and we had breakfast by the pool and swimming.  Later for Lorelai's actual birthday party my mom and I took Elyse, Gwen and Lorelai to the American Girl doll store for a lunch and she was able to pick out her first American Girl doll.  She picked the girl of the year for 2015, Grace Thomas.  It was an amazing birthday!

Ian took the little girls home early.  These two big girls stayed up late!

Six years ago this sweet girl made me a mom!

Elyse spent the night after Disneyland.  The next morning was a beautiful sunny day.
The girls all had breakfast out by the pool and a morning swim!

Lorelai wanted to bring ice cream sandwiches to her kindergarten class.  It was a warm, sunny day!  We ate outside and celebrated with Mrs Poole's kinder class at Taft Elementary.

Happy Birthday Kinder girl!

Awards Assembly

Taft Awards Assembly Spring 2015

After we moved back from Texas, we moved in with my mom and step dad in Riverside.  That meant that Lorelai started kindergarten at the elementary school I went to, Taft!  And to make it even better, her teacher was Mrs Poole, a personal friend of ours.  This was the first awards assembly we went to when Lorelai earned an award for academic achievement in language arts.  The assembly happened to fall on St Patrick's day so Lorelai was wearing her Leprechaun hat she made at school.

For Lorelei's last day of school before we moved back to California I took her to the nail salon for the first time (that's what she picked) and she loved it!

Lorelai loved the nail salon so much, she came home and made one with her sisters

Kinder Holiday Party

December 2014

Lorelai's last day of school in Texas before we moved back to California.  The last day of school before winter break they had a holiday party in their cute Kinder class.  Since we were moving back to California this would be the last time she saw all her classmates and teacher.  We loved her class!

50th Day of School

November 2014

Happy 50th Day of School for the Kindergarteners at Austin Parkway!  They celebrated with 50's Day!  They made root beer floats, had a "sock hop," relay races and hula hooping.  I just love these little kiddos and feel priveldged that I can help out in her cute classroom!

I made Lorelai a poodle tutu to wear!

Sailor Fest!

October 2014

At the end of October the PTA put on an amazing fundraiser at Lorelai's school, Austin Parkway, called "Sailor Fest."  The mascot of the elementary school is the sailors and we attended this fun carnival complete with food trucks, face painting, bounce houses, games and dancing.  It was a great night for the entire family!
