Springtime Fun

March 2015

Kindergarten cuties!  All the Taft Elementary kindergartners went on a walking field trip all around downtown Riverside.
We got to visit the art museum, natural history museum, a dance studio, fire station, and the mayor's office!  We even got to meet the Riverside mayor, Rusty Bailey.  I was so lucky to be a chaperone and this was my little group of girls!

My favorite little kindergartner! So incredibly blessed to be able to chaperone field trips for her!

They wanted to sit in the fancy chair at the Old Spaghetti Factory

Cousin Elijah Lane took a road trip to California with his friends.
We met up for dinner with him and his friends from Oklahoma

Two beautiful ballerinas at dance class:  Best friends Elyse Jergensen and Lorelai Lane

After dance class on St Patrick's day called for Shamrock shakes!

Saying Goodbye to Cali

It was a whirlwind of outings trying to fit as many excursions and seeing people in before we made the big move to Texas.  Saying goodbye to all these lovely people in my life was so hard, but I knew I'd see them again when we come visit Cali.  Which hopefully will be sooner than later!

the girls and Grandma Susie on their "grandma day" they spent all day with grandma and grandpa
at the Long Beach Aquarium before we moved

Gwen's nursery leader and my lovely friend Sis Green.  I was so happy to have Alicia as Gwen's
nursery leader and she always talked about "her sister green" whom she loved too!  we miss her!

Before we moved Elyse and Lorelai spent the whole day together.  These two girls have been best buddies practically since birth!  Leaving each other was hard, and she still talks about how she missed Elyse and wants her to visit.  Elyse gave Lorelai a friendship bracelet that matched hers so they can always remember each other! I'm heartbroken these two won't be growing up together. They are the cutest and love each other so much!

You know you're good friends when you can spend 5 hours talking at a restaurant and never
run out of things to say.  We will miss our friends Liz and Jeremy Jergensen so much!

Grandpa Ed!  These girls love their great grandpa Ed Ludloff!  They think he's a big teddy bear!
Gonna miss visiting my grandpa in Long Beach and going to lunch with him.  He's so fun!

Last day to see our best friends, the Postoians.  I can't even think how I'm going to manage life without Christi.  She's always there for me! They are family to us and we love them so!  They came to see us off to Texas and I appreciated that more than words can say.  I love this family!

Ian and his Randy
Everyone was holding someone, and we told my dad to hold the dog so he wasn't empty handed!
Gonna miss you dad!  Love hanging out at your house and our long talks!  Can't wait to see you soon
Girls night with my girls I became friends with in Canyon Crest.  I love these girls!

Saying goodbye to these ladies was rough.  They have been my friends since I moved back to Riverside. For over 5 years these ladies have made dinners for me, babysat for me, helped me, laughted with me, celebrated with me. I love them so!

Texas New Years

December 2013
From Oklahoma we drove all the way down south to Houston, Texas where we spent 2 days scouting the area.  Ian was interviewing with the Texas division of Ensign Group and we wanted to get a feel for southern Texas before we moved there.  We did a lot of driving around Houston those two days and decided our favorite area was the Woodlands.  We definitely liked the southern charm of the city.  After a short visit to Houston we drove back north to Fort Worth to spend New Years Eve with my cousin Katie Larson and her family.  We went to Dallas and rode the train, chik-fil-a for lunch and a New Years Eve party "kid-style!"  The party was complete with hats, noise makers, sparkling cider and a countdown!  The kids loved it!

Knotts Berry Farm

December 2013
Grandma and Grandpa Sewell took us to Knott's Berry Farm during Christmas time!  It was the girl's first time going and we had so much fun at Camp Snoopy.  The girls loved being able to ride the kiddie rides all by themselves.  We met up with great-grandpa Ed and Suzette Ludloff.  We rode the rides at Camp Snoopy, saw Snoopy on Ice and ended the night at Mrs Knott's Chicken restaurant. Thank you so much grandma and grandpa!

Ludloff Reunion 2013

August 2013
This year's reunion was a two days.  Friday night we set sail on a dinner cruise from Newport Harbor.  It was so fun hanging with my cousins and family.  We laughed and danced and had a great time.  Grandpa Ed and his wife Suzette have put together these family get togethers with our family and Suzette's family.
