Halloween 2012

October 2012

Love Halloween time!  We, of course, attended our favorite annual Jergensen Halloween party.  Lorelai decided she wanted to be Ariel, the Little Mermaid so we coordinated our costumes around that.  Ian was King Triton, Gwennie was Sebastian (I found a little crab costume for her) and I was Ursula the sea witch.  Which was quit the perfect costume for me as my hair was short and I was huge and pregnant!

the Little Mermaids

October 2012

Elyse Jergensen and Lorelai have been the best of friends since infancy, and since Liz Jergensen and I are such good friends this makes going on mommy daughter dates super fun.  So when we heard the Little Mermaid musical was playing in Tustin by a children's theater we knew this would be super fun for the girls!  We took them to lunch at Knowlwoods for hamburgers and shakes.  Then off to the play.  We let them change into their Mermaid costumes to watch the play.  Afterward the girls got to meet the characters. 

Disneyland, I love you!

I never tire of Disneyland.  It really is a magical place and with our annual passes we go quite often, that it has become one of those familiar places you frequent like the grocery store or the neighborhood park.  Hot dogs on main street, Cafe ZoCal, and the never ending happiness on my children's faces pulls me in again and again.  Here are a few pictures from August-October 2012.

LA County Fair 2012

August 2012

I love the LA County Fair!  I grew up going to it as a kid and it's so fun to take my kids to.  They had a blast petting animals, watching the pig races and eating snow cones!  And we of course stuffed ourselves with bbq fair food, corn and funnel cakes.

Summer Concert

August 2012

Honestly I think Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time.  Such a mix of music and emotion, you feel something.  So when I heard Led Zepagain (a cover band for Zep) was playing at the concert series of Dos Lagos in Corona you know we were going and indoctrinating our kids with classic rock!  So fun listening to music with hundreds of your So Cal neighbors on a warm summer night.

Cousin Wedding

Haidy and David Ludloff were married in August of 2012.  Their wedding was a beautiful outdoor wedding in Fallbrook, Calfornia!  We loved hanging out with our cousins and especially enjoying the amazing food and beautiful setting.
